ABU NAWWAS, TEACHING BULL CHANTING OF THE QUR'AN

Abu nawas, Teaching bull chanting of the Qur'an

"Call Abu Nawas here today as soon as posible" the word of Sultan Harun al-Rashid to a servant.

"Mr. Abu Nawas ..." said the servant of the king and when he reached the house of Abu Nawas he siad, "Sir, You’re is summon to come to the palace today."

Only half an hour after the servant had arrived at the palace, Abu Nawas arrived there.

"O Abu Nawas ..." Sultan said, "Do you know why I call you here? I ask you to teach my bull so it could recite the Quran. If the bull can not take your lessons, surely I would tell them to kill you. "

"Well my lord," replied Abu Nawas, "The statutes from you I will put it over my head." Then Abu Nawas in order to bring home a bull. Arriving home the bull tied tightly to a tree dates.

The next day Abu Nawas start hitting the bull with a rattan whip half to death. When the animal was almost run amok, Abu Nawas said the word "or", "or", "or". The words of Abu Nawas was taught to the bull while still swinging his whip incessantly. The job he did every day in the morning until noon and from dhuhur time until maghrib for several days so it is unthinkable to overlook the palace.

Half a month later the king sent a servant look to the house of Abu Nawas, whether he is able to teach the Koran or not the bull.

What was witnessed by the servant in the house of Abu Nawas, no other lash being waged by Abu Nawas into the bull's body, an saying "or," or, "or" until the animal in agony half dies. Then reported it to his Majesty Sultan.

"Please pardon the king," said the servant when she reached the palace, "i see Abu Nawas was teaching the bull in the back of the house with a large rattan whip. If the fastening strap is not strong must have been loose and raging bull, who taught nothing but two words, namely "or", "or", "or".

Sire was surprised to hear the report, after thinking for a moment the king utter, "Abu Nawas Call here right now, I want to know whether the bull that was to be the Koran or not."

Not long after Abu Nawas was up in the Palace, he had come to worship.

"O Abu Nawas, have you teach my bull and whether it can already recite the Quran?" Said Majesty the Sultan.

“Could have a little bit, my lord, "replied Abu Nawas.

"I was told of a servant look to your house, he said you taught the bull, the phrase" or "," or "," or ". I want to know what these words mean? "

"Please my lord," said Abu Nawas. Meaning "or", "or", "or" it is if the bull not dead, or me, or you my lord, or no one who died, the servant will not be satisfied.

Because until the end despite its age, the animal will not be able to recite the Quran. That's why I whip the animal to die. Thus I am pleased that my work can be completed. Or I die, or you are dead, or one, then that's it's bull. "

Sire aghast in his seat, could not say a word. After a stunned moment, the king said. "Then the bull you should take, or you're selling, or you make kebabs."

"Thanks a lot, yes my lord the king," said Abu Nawas as he worshiped until his head touched the ground. He excused himself to go home with a light step and heart happy.
